In November, 2006, Jack was elected to the Tennessee General Assembly as State Senator representing the 23rd District which includes Williamson and south Davidson Counties.  He and his wife Deanna have three children and live in College Grove, TN.  They attend Gracepointe Church.

After growing up in a small town in Texas, Jack Attended Texas State University where he graduated with a B.S. degree in education with an emphasis on political science.  Shortly after graduation he moved to middle Tennessee for an opportunity to work for Third National Bank (now SunTrust.)  In March of 2005 he moved to Pinnacle Financial Partners where he works in the asset management division.

Jack and his future wife Deanna met at a Young Republican function in 1992 and were married in 1996.  Deanna is an attorney and practices part-time from home. 

In his free time, Jack enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and flying.
